Return & Refund Policy

Once the buyer makes a payment, it means the buyer accepts all the “Online Buying Policy” and “Warranty Policy”.

Return Policy

The buyer has 14 calendar days to return an item from the date received. To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition as received.
  • The item must be in the original packaging.
  • The item must include the receipt or proof of purchase.

Shipping Costs

The buyer is responsible for paying their own shipping costs for returning an item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

Seller Responsibilities

  • The seller will check and confirm the goods are correct, in working condition, and have no physical damage before sending.
  • The buyer should unseal the parcel and check it before signing upon receiving the parcel.
  • Once the tracking number shows “Consignment has successfully delivered”, the buyer cannot claim for physical damage warranty (it will be considered user damage).
  • The seller will only replace if the tracking number shows “Consignee refuse to collect parcel”.
  • The seller is not responsible for parcel loss or damage during delivery. All damage claims must be made with the courier service company. However, the seller will help the buyer prove that the parcel is lost if it occurs during delivery.


Warranty Policy

Please keep a copy of your courier’s Consignment Note, Tracking Number, and original Invoice as warranty reference.

Warranty Process

Warranties may take more than 5 weeks as they will be returned to the distributor/service centre. The duration depends on their progress.

Warranty Coverage

Warranty does not cover:

  • Burn, mark, lightning strike, water damage, or any physical defect/damage during courier delivery.
  • Modification, personal repair, or excessive over-clocking resulting in malfunction.
  • Tear and wear, loss or damage during transit, delivery, or redelivery.
  • Loss or damage caused by accidental or intentional physical damage, spilled liquids, insect infestation, misuse, abuse.
  • Service costs or damage caused by unauthorized repair personnel, or alteration or removal of the warranty seal/sticker.
Certain products may require the buyer to manually register online.

Before Sending Out

All goods will be checked for full functionality and packed nicely before being sent out. It is advisable to video record the unpacking of the parcel. Claims for missing items or products not in good condition upon receipt will not be entertained.

Claims and Troubleshooting

Please capture photos/videos and send them to us if the goods are not functioning so that we can troubleshoot the defects. We will bear the postage replacement costs. However, if the product is not faulty or the warranty is voided, the customer will bear the postage fee to send it back.

Shipping Fees

Please note that buyers are required to pay for the shipping fees when sending in warranty claims and for warranty returns after the first 7 days.


The returned goods/products will be checked with the receipt together and the goods should be in good condition. The packaging should also be in original condition and in the original shipping container as received. If the goods/products have been used or damaged by the customer, there will not be any refund. Shop Online Hardware will also not be responsible if your shipment is lost during the return transit. Once we have checked and confirmed the goods/products, the customer will receive their refund within 14 days after confirmation.
